UNIFIED BY MUSIC

The Unified by Music Orchestra was founded in 2021 on the initiative of Prof. Dr. Aygül GÜNALTAY WEYLER as a cultural and social project by Mind Hub asbl in collaboration with Halewynstichting vzw.

The aim of the orchestra is to bring together amateur and professional musicians of all ages from different nationalities and to promote intercultural communication and common appreciation of cultural diversity through the universal language of music.

The orchestra composes of both amateur and professional musicians from various countries in Europe and currently living in Belgium. The repertoire consists of a wide range of music from classics to popular music, film music, world music and more.

During the season 2021 – 2022 BIAO had two prestigious concerts in Brussels. The orchestra further continues developing with new members, repertoire and concerts by participating as a good practice example in the Erasmus+ Project titled ‘Music 4 Inclusion’.
